For two years in a row, Angel Locsin is the featured woman on the cover of Metro Magazine’s “Power Women” issue. That’s for 2008 and 2009, baby!. It’s another honor bestowed upon the young beauty (among her growing list), days after she was nominated as Best Actress by the International Emmy Awards.

After generously donating half-a-million pesos for Ondoy’s victims, a blessing immediately came to Angel Locsin. She just bagged a Best Actress nomination at the 37th International Emmy Awards for her performance in ABS-CBN’s hit television series “Lobo.”

“Para sa akin ‘yong ma-recognize ka bilang isang artista, malaking bagay na ‘yon…. tapos ma-represent mo pa ‘yong Pilipinas at Asia. I’m very proud to be part of ‘Lobo,’” Angel said in an interview with SNN.

The young superstar is competing against Emma De Caunes (”Night Birds,” France); Cecilia Suarez (”Capadocia,” Mexico); and Julie Walters (”A Short Stay in Switzerland”, United Kingdom).
