After trailing behind the top-rating drama series “May Bukas Pa” for several weeks now, the Philippine koreanovela remake Only You finally snatched the top spot in the TNS primetime race nationwide.

The Angel Locsin starrer premiered last April 27, 2009 placing second to May Bukas Pa. It has been in that position until on May 12 (Tuesday) when it was able to duplicate the rating of May Bukas Pa that night for a tie in the no. 1 position with 37.8 percent. On May 13, it came back to its regular second position but it was on May 14 that it was able to grab the solo lead in the primetime race for the first time.

The newest koreanovela “Boys Over Flowers” on ABS-CBN is also doing very well. Since it premiered last Monday, it has always placed in the Top 5 with the best performance last Thursday placing 3rd in the nationwide primetime race with 28.3 percent.
